Dantz/EMC has announced Retrospect 7 for Windows on their forums web

I was pleasantly surprised that significant new features were actually
added. For me personally, the most interesting ones are "synthetic
full backups" and "data grooming."

There will be changes in the pricing structure too.

I am tempted to upgrade ASAP.

It's super, I just tested it, "synthetic" and "grooming" are brilliants.
Retrospect is now ideally perfect, features that others can only imagine,
example Veritas. (Veritas is 5 years younger company also than Danz) :-)
